Well, I can now say I'm officially done with marching band...Our last competition was yesterday, and it was a lot of fun. I'm really going to miss this activity, and I'm definitely going to miss all my guard girls ...but I'm still pretty glad I'm done with all of the late nights, long practices, and the near intolerable amounts of stress...haha

Technically I'm not totally done, there's still one more parade, the (dun dun dunnn) Channel 6 ABC (lol not Macy's...silly me)thanksgiving day parade! But I never have to march a field show ever again... But yeah, the band will be on national television. Look for the Spring-Ford Golden Ram Marching Band, I'll be at the front of the color guard.

College portfolio prep has been driving me nuts....I don't have a lot of time left, and I only have a few really good finished pieces. I always get discouraged too, looking around the art rooms at school and seeing some of the projects from the higher level classes. I feel like I have a serious disadvantage, since I wasn't able to take all the art classes I wanted to in earlier years...I have a couple more weeks to get this finished up, and I have Thanksgiving break coming up, so I should have pretty much all my application stuff taken care of by the end of that week.
